My record was won 3 lossed 4. I've always been to fat and short though to give it a best go! But I hit hard and I've studied the game real well.

They say those who can, do, those who can't, teach. The gym has currently got an ABA champ, and a Northern Area Champ so I can't be doing that bad!

You gotta think about the sparring the fight thing is that one is alot more relaxed. You're all tense in your fight and nervous so your muscles don't fair so well because you're less flexible. PLUS.. think about it, you're full of adrenalin. You're body will be pushing itself alot harder with your mind not noticing because you can't feel the pains/aches and the pulls.

Seriously though, you'll feel the benefit of the bout. It's suprising how much you can learn.

If you got a bar full of red k, everyone will think you're a dick kiddo . This is the best forum anyway. The rest you'll get banned for swearing and upsetting anyone. Here, you'll just be fine.

Ayup kid, i always too a week off. I'm a coach up in Yorkshire now and that what I advise now aswell.

I'm sure you've felt it, when you return to the gym after a bout, your training never goes as well - win or especially after a loss.

Doesn't mean you don't have to go down the gym whatsoever though! Nip down, have a laugh (perhaps a sauna if you've got the equipment) and just chill and catch up. It's important to let your flesh and mind recover over what can be 6 minutes of very stressful physical and mental activity.
