Lol. Im not going to lie. I think Im going to have to bring Wu-Tang back to my cd collection. I miss them. Sometimes its fun to hear some badass music too. But I no longer want gangsta rap to consume my cd collection. Wu-Tang/limp bizkit and thats it...the rest positive up lifting hip hop.

I listen to Nas(only his positive stuff), Joe Budden, Talib Kweli, Common, Mos Def, Lupe and Kanye. I'll try the guys you named. The thing that bothered me most about gangsta rap was all the gun talk. I don't like guns, and I don't like it when certain rappers glorify the gangsta lifestyle. its nothing to glorify.

That being said. I still listen to music with cursing and other not pure things. Im not ready yet to stop listening to all sinful music. But I think getting rid of gangsta rap was a good start.
