Yeah, that was the first thing they checked her for and it came back negative.

I took her for a walk today and she didn't even pull on the leash like she periodically does normally. I think we just need to let her take it real easy for a little while. We were kinda stupid because when she started acting like herself again, we would throw the frisbee or ball because we were so excited to have her back to her old self. We are gonna wait a few more days and take it real easy with her and then bring her back to the vet again if it she doesn't start acting like herself.

We originally brought her because she was acting lethargic and had no interest in eating, drinking or going outside. She is NEVER like that. She was really dehydrated and her white blood cells were really low so they kept her overnight on an IV and ran some blood tests. $564.50 later, here we are.

Sorry for the novel but we've talked a lot about our dogs so I just wanted to be clear.

Not really dude. She seemed great when I got home last night and my GF, who got home before me, said she was doing great too but today she was shivering and not acting like herself. I think she injured her back or neck.

The vet prescribed some pain meds and they seem to be helping her because when they wear off, she whimpers and shivers. For her to whimper blows my mind because she is such a friggin meat head and I could throw a brick at her and she wouldn't whimper. You must know what I mean. Pits have a hella high pain tolerance.

Yeah man, this **** is terrible. He was a genuinely good dude and I'm sad about this. Tonight I'll drink a few in remembrance of the great Samurai.

The Book of the Five rings is dope, it's an easy read but tough to understand. Basically what I have gotten from it is that the lessons he teaches about the Martial Arts and the duels he's had can be applied to your every day life. I have read the book 5 times and still don't full grasp everything he's trying to relate to you.
