Chavez-Martinez could do anywhere near 300-500k IMO. If you think about the average PPV before the recession hit, it was about 300-350k. This fight is getting some buzz and I think it will fall in that range.
That'd be great, but I hope this doesn't turn Chavez Jr into a PPV only fighter just yet. Looking at his ratings, they kept growing and growing. It'd be great to see that on regular HBO. However, money is the most important thing there is, so PPV it is.
As for CBS and Golden Boy, it's too early to tell. Showtime and Golden Boy have a very, very cozy relationship so I bet we'll at least see it on there at some point besides the Olympians.
I used to get them on the regular but the hook up doesn't get ratings any more..I haven't asked son of the bronx if he could get them, maybe if you send the guy a tweet he might start doing more boxing ratings if he sees there's a demand.
we both do bro. Broner is very much so a realistic goal, especially since Yuri has left TR and seems to have his sight set on 135 as a semi-permanent home. There's nothing left at 130 for Broner except Uchiyama anyway (and that fight is never gonna happen), so hopefully we see Broner-Gamboa within the next 2 years, when it matters.
Nothing directly from the team bro since they are still exploring their options since the buyout. There were talks about a possible return at 135 against Sharif Bogere (GoldenBoy) but as of right now that remains nothing more than a possibility/option.
Boxingtruth used to get them but they are gone now, think they got a cease and desist or something. For gates you just gotta look for them, sometimes Rafael will post them on twitter or you could find some obscure article online.
