I been thinking of seeing it again for the same reason. I thought it was a bit slow in the beginning and I got a bit lost with all the characters and all that, but by the end I enjoyed it alot. Oldmans character definitely was too subtle for how well he can perform, but I guess that's the way the character was in the book. If you get a chance and you haven't already, check out Romeo is Bleeding. Great performance of his and one of my favorite movies.
I saw Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy last night and I thought it was great! If you are into spy thrillers you will like this, the whole cast did a great job. It was a little different than I thought, Oldman is not the bad guy, and it started off a bit slow so I got lost for a little bit but it was definitely a good movie. I saw it at the local art theater, so unless you got something like that around you, you might have to wait til it's on dvd to watch it unfortunately.
Yeah I don't want to make it sound like some great movie, because it's definitely not It's weird though so I like to watch it from time to time. I'm going to see his new one next Friday at the local art theater. I will let you know how it is if you haven't found it by then.
Have you ever seen Track 29? It's one of his early films. I pulled it out of my closet tonight to watch it on VHS lol. At the time I bought it they had never released it on DVD, but now Amazon.com lists it on dvd. If you haven't seen it check it out. It's an odd one but that's why I like it.
Have you seen the trailer for his new movie Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy? I just saw a preview for it in the theaters last night, it looks bad ass! Looks like he's playing the bad guy where he does his best work
Hell yeah, I have seen almost all the movies he has ever been in. Some other favorite roles are in State of Grace, Chattahoochee, Criminal Law and he was funny as hell in both Nobody's Baby and Beat the Devil. Such a great actor
