lol i have no idea what conversation you're talking about, or the context, but becoming one of the top 100 boxers of all time requires a good deal more than a knockout of mathew macklin. i've always been high on golovkin's abilities / potential. i love the way he fights. he's a knockout puncher with a great amateur background and technical ability. he's developing a serious jab, and his chin is terrific.
when people ask me about whether or not i think "X is a potential ATG" i look at the potential resume he's going to be able to put together in the time he's got before retirement. i'm not entirely sure how familiar you are with the top 100 most accomplished boxers of all time, but you've got to have a hell of a resume to get counted among them.
