i never got a chance to follow up with you about your involvement in jazz / my newfound appreciation for it. i love jazz, but i don't have any background in it. i got back into jazz by listening to "smooth jazz" radio stations while studying / working, and also entertaining women . i moved on to "big bands" and "bebop" radio stations. i've recently started to try and learn a little bit about the major players. i've gotten into john coltrane, monk, but i really don't know where else to look. when you get a chance, could you maybe point me in the right direction with some different periods in time and artists?
thanks, bro. hope you're doing good and bangin' on those drums!
That's your opinion and I respect it, as you should respect mine. Just because it's an internet forum doesn't mean it doesn't deserve order and structure. I don't care how I come off to you, I am trying to do and support things I see right, and I will continue to do so.
I don't care how it comes off to you, I try and enforce what the mods don't care to because I care about the forum, it's not hard to post in the right place, it makes for a better and more organized environment, and I would have loved to comment in a different manner but it gets old when people want to throw stuff in NSB that does not belong, just because they are desperate for thread hits.
