  • They really need to watch Madirmov's last fight and the fights with Soro, I wouldn't favor Fundora or Tszyu over Soro....

  • Will Pitbulls chin be able to hold up to that left hook? Ryan would be able to land it easily but if it doesn't put Pitbull down Ryan will be in for a long night of back peddling and getting outworked, maybe stopped late.

  • He is on the path but he doesn't have much time left to do it, beating Madirmov in his first fight at 154 would be impressive especially if Madirmov does big things after a potential loss. Beating Jenibek at 160 would be impressive, then maybe he can lure Canelo out for a major fight and if he wins...

  • Yes, he did cheat but the remedy was Ryan paid out for it. The loss was due to Haney's poor strategy and particularly poor defense in this instance more than a little extra weight Ryan likely packed on between the weigh in and in the ring....

  • Sanctioning bodies can easily navigate him to a belt if he cares but he doesn't really need one.

A common theme here I noticed is once guys are fighting in their own divisions they made up, they have leverage to tell the sanctioning bodies to take a hike....

  • All of the picks for Garcia here are a product of post fight overreaction week. Ryan was getting broken down by Duerte before he landed the money shot. He didn't do anything differently nor was he more improved in the fight this past Saturday. He looked better because of Devin's poor strategy of being...

  • I didn't know that but there the tooth goes flying, could have been worse, could have been a front tooth then you have a gapped smile and can later get a job as a pimp if boxing doesn't work out for you.

Duarte doesn't now I suspect have the durable chin Maidana does and probably nowhere...

  • I thought he had the upperhand against Ryan and was breaking him down until Ryan cracked him with that hook and put him down.

He is talented enough and a good body puncher, seems to have enough power to bother fighters with his offense.

  • Well that is the plan isn't? Automation replaces the value of people's time, labor, skills but look guys the gubment has the solution, UBI, which will work in a deflationary economy and it'll start off ok then they'll be all kinds of strings attached like time limits on when you have to spend the programable...

  • I am unaware of this rule, do you have any source I can look up on this?

On points though Espinoza clearly won, he easily swept the first 4 rds, he got decked in the fifth, lost a couple rds after that then won the championship rds.

Awful the way McComb was robbed, it could...

  • I thought the same but Devin seemed to delude himself into thinking he is a big puncher and went right after Ryan at the opening bell, even in the rds Devin won which were the one's he didn't get dropped he was stalking Ryan on the move just waiting to set him up.

    He should have been his...

  • Still unifying titles, he is a world champion at 140 so take a chance at the most lucrative fight in Teo who is prone to having hot and cold performances.

So far so good, even with the two fights with Soro ending in controversy he is maybe the first fighter to convincingly prove he is better than him. Soro would have a very good chance against Fundora or Tszyu. In his last fight for the vacant WBA he beat Kurbanov very easily by stoppage with intelligent...

  • This was an awful robbery, possibly a shutout for McComb if anything the only fight this should lead to is a rematch.

  • Turki can have the keys to the boxing promotion kingdom as far as I am concerned, he's doing a better job of throwing money around to make big fights than anyone in decades.

Build ups and simmering is stupid, it never makes the fights bigger and someone likely loses before the big fight...
