The first four rounds should be crucial, if either man can get at least three of the first four rounds locked in that gives them such a good shot at pulling it off.

I want Kovalev to win, and I think what he needs to do is not be scared to pull the trigger from the opening belt. Double up on the jab and hit this old man's body, he needs to instill fear into Hopkins with his power without hoping for one shot to rock Hopkin's world.

The mental aspect is a huge variable in the fight given the style clash.

I get what you're saying. Kovalev hasn't been in the ring anyone remotely as intelligent as Bernard. If Hopkins can counter effectively I'm sure he can also hurt Kovalev if not mot Kovalev a little tentative to attack.

Gonna be a great fight, looking forward to this more than the May and Pac fights

My choice for this fight is 50/50. But if I had to pick by who I want to win, it would be Kovalev. Do you honestly think Hopkins can last 12 rounds?

We're all gonna be waiting for that first clean punch by Kovalev to make our true prediction.

i dont ****ing know man... im a sucker for the underdog (kovalev is the underdog right?) but I think Hopkins might just pull it out his ass and decision Kovalev.. unless the counters start to rock Kovalev then it might be a different story.

Still tho, Kovalev has the power to definitely test BHop's chin with one punch. Kovalev needs to keeps his hands free at all times.

From time to time. I have replaced, Broner pics with Ward pics, Cavs pics, and Chargers pics. You can have one pac pic, and one hopkins pick. I reduced my sig to accommodate stuff on my sig

Those kinds of jabs would catch Maidana off guard.

That kind of aggressiveness and intensity and the way he was punching. If he did that during the Maidana fight. He would have won easily.

As about the Kovalev fight: this will never happen... You know this, all fans know this.

How about posing in a pic with his former conditioning coach, surely that'll ruffle some feathers.
