I read up to chapter 8 or more on I am a Hero, it was VERY very interesting, I stopped for literally no apparent reason at all. I heard of Kingdom, many have recommended me that, I also heard the anime did it one of the biggest disservice ever
Then I saw the animation and it looked like Playstation 1 Graphics lol
Don't get me wrong, at the current moment I don't like anime, the only anime I really really enjoy and most seem to agree that the anime is superior to the Manga is...Hunter x Hunter, that and Zankyou No Terror.
Since reading Gantz, and it was the anime that really made me say...it's time to read it (This was many many many years after finishing the anime) is the fact that I like when characters are helpless, when the enemies aren't a bunch of posers and actually kill the good guys, when I can take a step back and say to myself 'How the fuck are they gonna get out of this mess' and not even be oblivious to the fact that maybe they just won't.
If you can recommend Mangas like that, let me know
I gotta expand man, I started reading Manga like 9-10 months ago, I used to be strictly anime and never understood why anyone would read instead...then I learned. Yeah, eventually I'll get to Vagabond since it's on my list but it's gonna be a while until that happens, after Berserk (Which is gonna be a long long time till I catch up) I gotta read 20th Century Boys.
Takehiko Inoue, so it's him who wrote Slam Dunk, I actually skipped school a lot because I was on Slam Dunk heavy
I hope not, luckily for me I'm only up to volume 6 at the moment in Berserk so I have a long way to go. Berserk is such a classic that the author better finish it before he goes. Gantz at the moment might still be the best Manga I ever read.
Yeah berserk is great, it's second or third on my GOAT list. i'm reading Prison school rightnow very hilarious.
It suck about berserk and asoiaf, the authors gonna be deads before finishing their's work
