I would talk to guys in the lounge about sports betting, with a more "contrarian" approach. Believe me, most people won't listen. People hear "52.4% to break even" and think it's a piece of cake. Then when they don't go 80% over their first 15 bets, they quit the approach entirely. I take a lot of "I think your wrong" crap when I post plays, because they're not of "popular opinion." Generally, people don't understand that my bets won't be "popular opinion" and that I damn sure don't want them to be. In fact, I want the opposite.

What cracks me up is how writers in baseball pretty much as a whole trip over PEDs hard, yet in boxing there is no real accountability on the issue at all. You would think it would be reversed consider that baseball is much less physical and dangerous than boxing.

That is part of my beef with boxing journalism though, or lack there of.

Something that has been tripping me out is that Donaire got the FOTY nod over JMM because of the testing, if that was honestly the way the media works why did Manny get FOTD over Floyd when Floyd was pushing harder testing?

That's something I think that hasn't gotten the attention it should.
