  • Fury can't be compared to one of the best to ever do it though, I mean last time out he barely scrapped by against Francis.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if Fury got sliced up and stopped late on accumulation. Usyk fights like a bigger version of Loma using angles, accuracy, and volume....

  • He is right now, not a lucrative option for Bud. He just offers alot of risk and Bud at the later stages of his career is trying to parlay himself possibly into a Canelo fight for the big bucks....

  • Maybe the quickest way for the fight to happen is for Boots to do what Bud did and become undisputed at 147 then move up to 154 to fight Bud should he beat Madirmov. To make this happen, Boots has to be more active build himself as a star and make himself an attractive option for Bud....

  • Eddie would have to get him fights which will give him more status, probably at 154 for a belt, then at 160 if Bud is trying to make a case for the Canelo fight.

Boots needs to look good, be active, and a step ahead of Crawford's moves directly in the way of his goals to get the fight with...

  • He would be silly to not impose his size on the cruiser, when AJ fought on the front foot, the few rds he did, like a real HW he won rds against Usyk.

  • The thing is, these national divisions can't last in the digital economy which we're in the early stage of building because its all going to be global, 24/7, instantaneous, and energy efficient.

People just have to get used to the idea of privacy going out the window, have you looked at...

  • That is the same argument that Hopkins fans used in the fight with Calzaghe, as if Joe has to win the rds and Hopkins by virtue of being there automatically gets the benefit unless Joe does damage. While effective punches should weigh the most in scoring so do the number of punches in their absence....

  • They really need to watch Madirmov's last fight and the fights with Soro, I wouldn't favor Fundora or Tszyu over Soro....

  • Will Pitbulls chin be able to hold up to that left hook? Ryan would be able to land it easily but if it doesn't put Pitbull down Ryan will be in for a long night of back peddling and getting outworked, maybe stopped late.

  • He is on the path but he doesn't have much time left to do it, beating Madirmov in his first fight at 154 would be impressive especially if Madirmov does big things after a potential loss. Beating Jenibek at 160 would be impressive, then maybe he can lure Canelo out for a major fight and if he wins...

  • Yes, he did cheat but the remedy was Ryan paid out for it. The loss was due to Haney's poor strategy and particularly poor defense in this instance more than a little extra weight Ryan likely packed on between the weigh in and in the ring....

  • Sanctioning bodies can easily navigate him to a belt if he cares but he doesn't really need one.

A common theme here I noticed is once guys are fighting in their own divisions they made up, they have leverage to tell the sanctioning bodies to take a hike....

  • All of the picks for Garcia here are a product of post fight overreaction week. Ryan was getting broken down by Duerte before he landed the money shot. He didn't do anything differently nor was he more improved in the fight this past Saturday. He looked better because of Devin's poor strategy of being...

  • I didn't know that but there the tooth goes flying, could have been worse, could have been a front tooth then you have a gapped smile and can later get a job as a pimp if boxing doesn't work out for you.

Duarte doesn't now I suspect have the durable chin Maidana does and probably nowhere...
