It's especially stupid for them to use the phrase right now because there isn't a face of the sport. Boxing has always been tribal, most boxers appeal to their own demographic primarily. It's worth watching, especially if you already like other shows in the genre. Good writing and acting, Gandolfini especially does a great job. Although I didn't like the ending shot, season 6 in general was very strong with how each character had a well-done narrative and conclusion.

It's possible but unlikely imo. Ali stopped Foreman but there are lots of fights where the boxer didn't KO the puncher. Ali had a better offence than Bivol. Look at his last fight, he had his overmatched opponent hurt on the ropes but couldn't get him out of there. His whole attack is basically 1-2-3,...

I started watching boxing in the days when SBW had Morales, Barrera, Zaragoza, Tapia, McKinney, Junior Jones. But there is nobody like that now in the US or Mexico in terms of popularity or ability. Nothing for Inoue to travel to.
