Yeah, idk what to think about it... Pacquiao probably isn't a real welterweight.

Cotto is going to drain himself to make 145.

But it was Cotto who wanted this fight because Pacquiao brings the money in.

Erislandy Lara is who I have in my avatar. It was Andre Dirrell before that, but since I got a badass sig of him, I decided to take him out of my avatar.

    It's a joke...

Lightweights shouldn't move up to welter (since it is over 140) to fight the best fighter in the world.

Whatever, Floyd better take Cotto, Mosley or Pacquiao after this fight, or he will continue to be criticized for terrible opponent choices.

I don't NEED anything to tell me how Berto does against Cotto and Margarito, or Clottey for that matter. Those guys are head and shoulders above Berto, and that's all there is to it.

Before this Collazo win, Berto's resume was 100% on par with Cintron's, except he hadn't stepped up against anyone good, the way Cintron did against Margarito. A lacking resume with no good wins. Now he has a good win (albeit controversial), against a pretty good fighter. He will probably win the rematch, because he has more that he can work on than Collazo, but... I just don't see the talent there to do a whole lot more than a paper champion status at WW.

No. Almost losing to a B level welterweight means that it is almost assured that he will lose to an A level welterweight.

I'm not saying Berto sucks, I'm just saying that he gets much more love than he should.

    I worked, and I didn't see it.

Apparently a lot of people thought Collazo took it, and I honestly think it feeds my theory that Berto is just not that great. Collazo is pretty good, but he is nowhere near elite, meaning that Berto is just leasing his belt until he fights Clottey, Margarito or Cotto for sure... one of the lower tier WWs has a chance to beat him too, considering Collazo almost did it.

I did hear that Berto did show the ability to adapt, which is good for him I suppose.

Berto might have good ability, I'm not sure. It's never really been tested.

His best win is Steve Forbes... at 147. Saying Forbes is accomplished at 147 is obviously a bit silly.

If/when he beats Collazo this weekend, his stock will skyrocket in my book, because Collazo, even with his fairly lackluster resume, is 10X as good as anyone Berto has beaten so far.

He hasn't fought anyone good at all yet!

Honestly, Berto's path to a world title is a complete joke.

When someone good can take his punch, or better yet, block his punch, and fight back, his defense is going to have him in big trouble, because he gets hit a lot.
