You should have read my response a bit carefully. I said "IF Boots wants the fight." Meaning, in life you don't get to be beggar and a chooser at the same time. Who cares what they want? Who who? Fighters hold the cards, not fans. You're asking me if I want that fight? What a silly question....

But Boots is staying at 147, while Bud is moving to 154. To me if Boots wants that fight, there's no reason why he can't make 154. He's big enough to move up. No draining on both sides is necessary....Last edited by brettWall; Yesterday, 12:37 PM.

Nah, I don't believe that. Point is when you're running out of bums to cherrypick, you gotta have the conscience to at least take past prime, but capable fighters. Frank never even thought of fighting Charles Marin, for example, and Prince Charles had to cross the street and beg for fights outside of...Last edited by brettWall; Yesterday, 12:27 PM.

It's a simple case of money being the issue. Nothing complicated about it. Whether it's he said, she said, they said, none of that nonsense is necessary. No such thing as you can have all the facts by just scouring the current media. Who is to determine bias anyways? Only thing missing is Spence's response....Last edited by brettWall; Yesterday, 12:38 PM.

You have to wonder why Frank Sanchez wanted no part of Luis Ortiz who is a stable mate at PBC. Sanchez cherrypicked total bums, yet didn't have any time for Ortiz.

Good for Crawford. It's what he's been waiting for. Not good for the sport, though, imho, rewarding inactive fighters with lucrative deals.Last edited by brettWall; Yesterday, 11:03 AM.

Fight should be a ticket to land a fight in the oil-rich country if they perform well. Ortiz needs fights ASAP desperately. Clock is ticking for him.

It always depends. Devin Haney and Tank Davis had spats with each other on social media ten times as much dating back years, not to mention face to face, yet their fight never materialized, and most people think it will never happen anytime in the future, especially now that the weight difference is...

In fairness to Mr Bill Haney, what he's probably saying is that Garcia should be taking this fight seriously....

Why on earth anyone would buy this fight? The threats are one-sided. Nothing from the other side.

Garcia didn't even try to correct the perception/impression. He thought getting meek and humble in his recent appearances would fix it. In my experience as a fan, I get hopes when fighters continue to talk down the opponent, make his skills inferior, ie, KO him in 5, won't last the distance, etc. It's...

No contradiction. There are haters, then there are fans of particular fighters, then there are those in the middle who just want to see good fights regardless of who wins. All groups may or may not be in equal proportions, but every promoter should target all buyers not just haters. But promoting is...Last edited by brettWall; 04-16-2024, 12:28 PM.

Nah, nobody would buy such thing. They'd rather just watch that on Youtube after the fight. Garcia still has a lot of fans wishing for him to win. That's what people buy. Hope. Hope that he could still pull it. Give them hope. Of course, he has haters who would be buying, anyways. Hate sells....
