No, I just took him up on his word. I thought that other people here were sending him stuff so I figured it was legit. I might have the receipt at home but I can't remember off the top of my head where the address was...
At which point Projectxxx told me to take him off ignore so he could respond, which i did, promptly causing the thread to be deleted.
Yet he still chooses to ignore the message of this thread and go about posting hoping the thread get sunk to page 2 and all this is forgotten about. Not happening Mr Horton, i want to see registered charity number. This is only one forum, someone who does this for a living such as Mr Horton my be doing it on countless other forums, to think of all the people could be being scammed!
Boston Guy responded.

****, I sent Horton a couple pairs of Reyes (they were old but in good shape), 10 pairs of Title bag gloves (that were unopened but weren't being used) and various other stuff.....
He paid for all the shipping by sending a UPS box to me with his return address on it. I didn't bother writing it down though...
A serious request to the mods, there are scammers all over the internet, if someone is going to create 100+ posts on a PRIVATELY owned website requesting free equipment for a charitable cause, it would be the decent thing to ask for some kind of proof even a registered charity number.
In the said poster case, he claims he is a registered non profit organization, so he would have no problem posting his recently acquired business ID (http://www.boxingscene.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=460750) ? I mean this number would be printed on all business cards/leaflets and receipts, so why not post it on a forum, just for that little extra bit of reassurance?
Gain confidence of posters + Request used boxing equipment + ebay = WIN!!!
I made a thread in the lounge earlier, it got deleted as soon as i took Tim Horton off ignore to defend himself against my accusations. I have since been told by a mod that this was the correct place to post my thread. Fortunately for Tim Horton i took the liberty of copying some of my posts/ responses before the thread was deleted. So here we go again.
TIM HORTON YOU ARE OFF IGNORE AND FREE TO POST SOME KIND OF PROOF OF YOUR CHARITY.
The following are quotes by me, which "BostonGuy" responded to there where some responses from "King Kong" and Projectxxx" but i dont have them.
How ironic, someone who has an interest in con scams, yet INSISTS his daily request for free boxing equipment is "for the kids", seems like you haven't gained the confidence of the people on this forum enough yet to pull off your latest scam Mr Horton.
Now, about the charity, in this thread he is requesting someone who is able to put together a website for the charity, bearing in mind this was 5 months ago im pretty confident the website should be up and running now.
So can we have a link to your website now Mr Horton? Surely this is not too much to ask?
So this is a guy who is an ex-convict who is now working with children and is also a fundraiser for MS and a personal trainer charging $75 per session. Man Canada sure is the land of Hope and Glory, even for ex-cons.
So why did you lie Mr Horton about not needing equipment after you became "registered" yet you were clearly on the forums at least 3 times after asking for such, even moving to a different section because you had been exposed in the one you normally use?
