Ya know I agree with that to a certain extent. People wanted to see Manny throw 100 punches per round because they had this preconception that otherwise he could not win. But this view sort of masked the bit of success Pac had with counter punching during this fight, and over-emphasizes the value of flurrying in spite of being able to observe that Pac's flurries in this fight were not resulting in big connects.

It creates an incentive to fight in a way that the judges will score favorably based on their view of how you should fight rather than trying to fight in a way that results in clean, connected punches that rock your opponent.

Personally I originally scored 8-4 but it looked a lot more debatable on review. Some rounds were closer than I appreciated, and 7-5 May or 6-6 seemed a lot more believable after I watched them again.

Besides the diva shit he pulls, I really have no problem with him. It's his nationalistic hypocrite stans that I like to expose.

Everybody knows that guys like Jack Dempsey and Joe Louis would be knocked out by 1 or 2 guys in nearly every bar in Adelaide today. That's just a cold hard fact!
