Well, at least you have something you can use to keep up w/o bugging the neighbors. Also, i wish i had bought a metronome.
One of my weak spots was speeding up or slowing down gradually. Oh well, days gone by...lol.
YW...it was a good post. Same here, i log on to browse a bit, keep up on fights, bets, try to keep up with friends, visit the GK threads, get my interest, and get ready for dinner...lol. Hey, you still playing drums?
not sure if you know, but the next card in the city has been announced. main event is Krzysztof Wlodarczyk vs. Giacobbe Fragomeni. it's their third fight. first fight ended in a draw (in italy), and second fight ended in a tko 8 for the wlodarczyk (in poland). i haven't watched them, but who knows, it can possibly be a good fight. the undercard has granados, littleton, and wright (only guys you've seen live). i'm sure you remember granados, wright was in the boring cruiserweight fight where the scorecards were read wrong, haha, and littleton is the guy we walked out on in the last card we went to (sox stadium).
i'm working that night, so i'll have to watch it later when i come home as well. you should check out that sweet boxing site. google sweet boxing (togetherlikethis), the guy has a twitter and a google webpage/site where he posts download and stream links. but yeah, it should be a good fight. i just really hope marquez wins this fight. i'd love to see him win, accomplish the "first mexican to win a title in 5 different divisions" title like he wants, and then ride off into the sunset. the other two mexicans, barrera and morales, didn't know when to quit and they weren't fortunate enough to end their careers on top.
did Mayweather41-0 tell you about him moving? he's not living in chicago anymore. it sucks, cause he's really the only friend i had in the city that's a boxing fan. plus, he's a really cool guy, but yeah, no more local fights unless i can find people who are down to go to it.
he's my favorite active fighter (i'd have to say hagler is my all time fave). i'm super nervous about this fight, i too think bradley can easily win a decision if he stays on his toes and perhaps back peddles throughout the fight. although marquez looks to be stronger at this stage of his career, the thing i fear in this fight is that he'll be a bit too slow and won't have the legs to keep up with bradley. i really don't think bradley and diaz intend on planting their feet and banging it out with jmm. having a gift over pac and a scare against provo in his last two fights, i think they'll try and take this win anyway they can, and that'll most likely be to stick and move. keep the fight on the outside.
yeah, canelo messed up big time against mayweather. it's a disappointment too cause after alvarez, there really isn't a big threat/challenge out there for mayweather unless pacman makes a humongous comeback which i don't think he will. he probably has like 3 more fights in him, if that, against nothing but top rank fighters. matthysse can still be champ at 140 if garcia moves up and vacates, but that loss really took everything out of the momentum he had going. rematch judah or something, then follow garcia and alexander to 147 for rematches i suppose.
