    I like Louis way more

Just the signature wins that does it for me. Ali has dominance not as much though but he does have something Louis completely does not. A win against a prime Top 10 ATG.

I do like Dempsey, his resume doesn't stack up either though. I do disagree with you on the Ali-Louis debate but it's six and half a dozen really.

You would have thought he would have helped out the black fighters moreso by giving them title shots. He hindered more than he helped arguably. Especially being such a d1ckhead so the already racist white people hated him even more. People were wary of black heavyweights which is why Joe Louis had to follow all those stupid rules to help his opinion with the white establishment, all 'cause Johnson had left him in a bad light.

That gripes me when people list his resume.

McVey, Jeanette, Langford, Jeffries, Ketchel. Going by names it's nice but:

McVey and Jeanette were both horribly green.
    Langford weighed 155 or whatever.
    Ketchel was a MW.
    Jeffries hadn't fought in years.

Then people try and say "you can pick apart anyone's resume." Not to the extent you can Johnson's and it's almost every good fighter on his resume.

I'm going to do a Wills vs Johnson and Dempsey resume comparison soon. Legitimately curios as to if Wills will win. Actually beat decent versions of Jeanette and McVey and to a lesser extent Langford (he was a bit past it.) Defended the coloured heavyweight title like 30 odd times or something.

I like your heavyweight list, no sympathy for midget bashers like Johnson and Jeffries!
