I watched like 4 minutes of the 1st episode, it's from 1971. I paused it for a sec and saw the trailer to a more recent Lupin, one that aired on Adult Swim, that one seemed much more appealing

The movies are unrelated to the series, not some type of spoiler or anything right?

I might be asking a very stupid question, but are you a big fan of Lupin the 3rd? O.o

I downloaded Season 1, I'm gonna watch it regardless, but when does the animation improve if you know what I mean. I don't mind old style stuff, just asking.
