Hunter apparently said recently that Amir doesn't need another tune-up before Garcia, so i hope that was just talk. Lopez would be a good fight and a good measure of how much Khan is learning. it was difficult to read too much into the Molina fight. his movement looked better, less wasted footwork, seemed to turn his man and keep it in the centre of the ring better, rather than just circling the compass of the ring as he so often has before.

brooooo, I saw the King Khan-Garcia fight in the early hours on a TV screen in a hotel bar (was the only way i could see the fight, went to Haye-Chisora the same day so me and my boy were stuck in London overnight) and i was gutted! Danny's only shot was to land the big hook at mid-range and they played right into his hands by staying in there so long whenever Amir attacked. i'd still favour Amir in a rematch if he'd stayed with Roach and just implemented a slight tactical reshuffle, but i don't know if he can absorb Hunter's teachings quickly enough to win the rematch if that's going to be his next fight after Molina. what are your thoughts?
