But I agree that these people have an obsession with doctors ... its literally "doctor or bust" to some desis. Yeah becoming a physician is a big deal but its not the only career.

With that said my brother is currently becoming a doc and my parents got pissed as hell at him for even suggesting to do something like engineering rotfl

I actually had no idea until I actually went to college (we call it college not uni) and by then I already got accepted to pharmacy school

Before that I didnt see the big deal about becoming one and didnt give a **** lol
