Where does he go after the rematch against Tarver? Should he stay at light heavyweight for a while and defend against mandatories, drop down to 168 or make some champions at 168 move up to fight him? I wish he could unify against Diaconu.

b-hop would be great but hopkins dont want to, shame, going down would be exciting, use his reach even more effectively and get bigger fights

I hope for unification against Diaconu as well. Some unfinished business there. Or perhaps he can lure Erdei out of Germany? It would be great if we got a marquee fight for the linear title.

Agreed with both. I wonder if Erdie's people would take that kind of a fight though, maybe they just want Zsolt to hold on to his belt as long as he possibly can. Dawson should go over to fight him IMO. Hopkins would be a great fight as well, but he also doesn't want the fight and says Dawson is not a big enough name.

So far team Erdei hasn't shown interest in big time opponents as far as I know. I am convinced that Dawson would school him for a near shutout even in Germany.

Well now if he really goes to 168, he could fight Kessler for it his title instead of at catch weight. I haven't really heard Kessler push for the fight, he really hasn't fought any top level fighters since he lost to Calzaghe( no offense of course), and in that radio show, Dawson talked about how Kessler wasn't interested in taking it. Kessler had his opportunity to be in some big fights but for some reason his promoter don't want him to be.

Kessler hasn't mentioned Dawson or any other for that matter. I think the managerial dispute occupies his mind and he is not one who normally calls out somebody (other than Calzaghe).

Regarding Dawson I feel that he'll be better off staying at 175. Still some good matches to made against Johnson, Erdei, Garay and Cloud. Eventually some 168 pounders will move up and they'll be looking for the top dog of that division and I wouldn't bet on it being anybody else than Dawson.

Why risk some weight-draining, when patience is all it takes IMO?

Felix Sturm made a fortune (1½ million euros) this weekend by defending his title against a japanese no-hoper. Chad could pick up a nice paychack if he wanted to travel to Germany and face one of the german based champions.

I know exactly what you mean, and i do think Dawson should stay at 175 or meet one of them at a catch weight. As you can see from my avatar, he looks like a body builder and hes also 6'3. On that radio interview, he talked about how he comes into camp at 178 LBS and making 168 wouldn't be a problem, i guess we'll have to see.

I would rather see him fight Hugo Gray or Erdie and even Cloud rather than risk being weight drained, because being weight drained against someone like Froch or Kessler would be fatal. but if he CAN however make the weight comfortably, then i would want to see those fights especially the Kessler one.

I tried the radiolink yesterday. Of course it's very american and not so easy for me to understand it all . Still I listened for about an hour but I only heard Brewster. I didn't catch anything from Chad. Do you know when he arrives approximately in the show?
