you're basing it on the premise that mayweather is a "super marquez" and nothing more. It implies thatmarquez isn't better, or different from mayweather in any aspect of boxing. marquez is a better offensive fighter than mayweather; mayweather is a "one shot/potshot and retreat" kind of counter puncher, whereas marquez follows it up with combinations. marquez is a better offensive fighter than mayweather. . . marquez stays in the pocket and takes more risks than mayweather - he takes more risks than floyd. . . in conclusion, marquez and mayweather are two very different fighters.

ur premise is all wrong. u assume that im basing it off of some sort of triangle theory. im not. im basing it off of the clash of styles. if pac struggles with jmm, whose counter punching style is clearly a step below floyds, then yes there is no doubt in my mind that pac wont be very competitive against a bigger, faster, stronger, longer and more skilled mayweather. i just dont see it. it will prove once and for all that counter punchers are manny's worse nightmare.

didn't jermaine taylor beat, or at least fight hopkins on even terms? and didn't taylor get KO'd, and hen fight a close fight with Pavlk?

only those with the ability to look past these comparisons were successful in predicting the outcome of Hopkins/Pavlik

your better than that. . . your above the triangle theories that only the most basic of noobs believe in!
