I'm not worried about the Blackwater at all though. I suspect the many cuts are because of the budget being increased only for the Blackwater, which they said it was.

Those changes were just stupid pointless changes. They served no purpose but to piss off book readers. Why bother changing it at all? I'm not giving up on the show or anything, it's still a great show, but I'm hoping the people making this show get an earful after this season., and realize they shouldn't change small things for no reason.

Yeah its pissing me off as well, I haven't posted my thoughts on the thread because I don't want to come across as the moaning guy every single week when the show lets me down. I agree I see no reason why they didn't have Arya killing the guard maybe HBO thought some fans would go off her character idk. I think they are making Tyrion look dumb I really thought he would shine this series . If they butcher the battle it may well be the final straw for me its a real shame the series showed so much promise. I always thought it would be difficult to transition the book onto the T.V screen though they could double the screen time and triple the budget and still be forced to cut things. Still im not happy about it.

This episode pissed me off with a lot of the changes. They changed so many small things for seemingly no reason. Why not have Arya kill a guard? Why not have Robb and Catelyn find out about Bran and Rickon's "deaths"? Why not even mention the f'ing chain Tyrion has built? Ugh.
