    I've taken my vFF through some rough trails and they seem to hold up great. But everyone's walking pattern is different so they might wear out faster for some people. If your going to try them I recommend the VFF sprints. They are great for beginners.

    right on man, thanks for the link, i know people hate on them shoes but i've heard nothing but good things, although from what you say about rocks and glass i have to ask , " are they fragile?, can't take rough and tough wear and tear?" i'm hard on shoes, always have been, thats why i ask.......

    These shoes are amazing but I don't run in them. I use then for walking strength training. If you do want to running them, you have to start really, really slow or you will get hurt. When I walk outside with them I always watch the ground for rocks or glass. I hope this helps.
