  • Oscar is more than likely jealous of the Saudi business that Eddie has got going on. He's bringing in serious money to his company by linking up with Turkish. Not to mention if he's officially squashed his "beef" to work with Frank Warren in conjunction with Turkish, it's only even more business....

  • I don't think density has to do entirely with thickness. I mean, you can have a guy who doesn't drink a lot of milk and his bones snap easily from doing just about any small activity. On the other hand a guy who drinks a lot of milk but has skinny bones, they won't snap as easy and perhaps might even...

  • How do you know Wilder has low bone density? If anything, I'd imagine they're high. Dude is skinny af and has weighed as high as nearly 250lbs....

  • I think it's everything. Having longer limbs means, more bone/muscle/tendons coming with the punch. Of course you need to back that up with speed and strength to equal power, but I think that adds to the equation. Though it's not without its CONs as well. As we know, longer limbs also means you're more...

  • Just more leverage can let you bring more power into the equation. Longer legs, longer arms. Big feet let you plant better to turn over everything with a larger footprint. This dude at my gym reminds me of Wilder's build. Tall, lanky black kid. He's strong AF. He's absolutely shredded with a skinny/muscular...

  • A lot of good matchups to be made. Pitbull Cruz is definitely in the mix. If his chin can hold up to the best shots in the division (already did with Tank), he has good chances to beat a lot of guys. His punch output is ridiculous and if you can't fend him off, good luck.

Loma is awesome and as he's about to get ready for retirement, I'm appreciating his skills more and more when I look up his older videos. His style was truly something else. While some might think he was a defensive wizard, the way he would stay right in front of you and lay on the offense while also...

  • Ryan's on a high right now trying to indicate the guy he just beat would beat the guy that beat him. I don't see that at all. Haney's chin has been exposed more than ever now. Any fighter with power is going to take it to Haney. I think Tank would run through Haney and actually get the stoppage. Something...

  • I'm not referring to body punches in this scenario. Of course they exist and they can do their job slowing down a fighter or potentially stopping him. Though in what happened with Ryan vs Haney, Ryan was messing Haney up when he landed. His face was a mess at the end while Ryan looked relatively unmarked....

  • I think I mentioned this in another thread but for some reason this fight reminds me of the James Kirkland - Canelo fight. Kirkland being this raw power puncher with a fragile chin. Granted, we don't know how well Munguia's chin is exactly in comparison, but it can be an early night. With all the throwing...

  • If this gets signed, oh man. Timmy in for another world of hurt, lol. That dude going from one hell of a fight into another. Good luck to him, but man, it'll be an awesome fight to watch while it lasts.

  • I guess at this point, I expected Bud to pick a "star" in boxing to share the ring with to maximize his money at this point in his career. I can't knock him for going for another belt, but I just feel like not as many folks are going to tune in when they have no idea who Madrimov is compared...

  • I feel like sometimes in fights where it appears to be close, the fighter with less damage on their face should be considered the winner. Isn't that what boxing is about at its core? Inflicting damage and hurt on your opponent? If one guys face is swollen like a pumpkin and the other doesn't even look...

  • What the hell? Bud's gone for nearly a year and this is the best dance partner they could find for him? He might as well just retire instead. Geezous.

  • Both of them sound like clowns. I've rarely watched a Floyd video where he isn't beefing with someone or angry at the world. The dude has ego, sure, but he's also a classless d1ck. His be the a$$hole persona to sell tickets consumed him and now he's bitter that most of the world can't stand him and...

  • I don't think someone who misses weight is P4P worthy, lol. The whole point is that you can fight at any weight class and be equally effective. Ryan missing weight means he's did not make the light welterweight limit. He's literally the opposite of what P4P means, lol. At least for now.

If Ryan takes this fight, it's going to be hard to hate on him. He's showing he don't just have a pretty boy face, but more ballz than fugly fighters who by world wide standards should be stronger than pretty boys?

  • Ryan didn't cheat not making weight, he just forfeit the chance to win the belt. I suppose the win meant more to him than the belt. I mean, his stock has only gone up since this so he was probably right in that regard.

That said, Haney got a taste of his own medicine. He's been a frequent...

  • It was an entertaining fight, but stupid in so many ways. Okay, the weight bully Haney got a taste of his own medicine. Ryan wins, but gets no belt out of it. Ryan also has an asterisk next to the win because he didn't make weight. Would Ryan making weight have changed the outcome? More than likely...
