  • Comments Thread For: Wilder Would Agree to Fight Ortiz Again, Wants to 'Punish' Him

By Keith Idec - Deontay Wilder wants nothing more than to challenge Anthony Joshua for heavyweight supremacy in his next fight. Wilder would settle for a title unification fight against Joseph Parker, the unbeaten WBO champion. Joshua doesn’t seem as interested in an immediate showdown with Wilder and almost certainly will face someone other than Wilder next, perhaps Parker....

That's good to hear, lets get Joshua-Paker and Wilder-Ortiz on the same card

I highly doubt Wilder-Joshua is the next. With that being said, I'd be happy if Wilder fights Ortiz, Breazeale, or Parker.

If he's not going to fight Joshua first then this fight makes sense.

If they can get this fight on the same card as the Joshua/Parker fight then boom!!! A good name on Wilder resume and fights the Joshua/Parker winner.

Ortiz violated the terms of the WBC’s “Clean Boxing Program” by failing to disclose on the VADA form that he was taking medication for high blood pressure.

Ortiz tested positive for an anabolic steroid, nandrolone, after his first-round knockout of Lateef Kayode in September 2014.

How is this guy still even ranked???

In case there are any RTARDS...

"Nine months ago, Wilder won a lawsuit he filed against Povetkin and promoter Andrey Ryabinsky, and was awarded $5 million in damages.

Breazeale is Wilders best choice at this time. He could lose his position if he gets ktfo by Ortiz which is very likely. Since Joshua’s fight bums, why would Wilder risk so much to prove he’s no paper champ.
