Strength and conditioning coach Angel "Memo" Heredia (56-7-1, 40KOs) has advised BoxingScene.com that four-division champion Juan Manuel Marquez will likely return to the ring at the end of the year and is also planning a second fight for the Spring of 2016 as well.

Marquez has been inactive for most of 2015. He last fought in May of 2014 when he defeated Mike Alvarado via unanimous decision at The Forum in Southern California.

Marquez has been out a long time now dealing with injuries. If he has anything less than 100% commitment, he should either retire or beat up some no hoper as a farewell.

That being said, while I'm not a big fan of Marquez's whining it will be nice to see him again.
