Eddie Hearn of Matchroom has got the ball rolling on a potential fight between WBA World Super bantamweight titlist Scott Quigg and the IBF’s title-holder Carl Frampton by sending Barry McGuigan a proposal for a summer showdown. Hearn revealed the news during an interview with The Daily Mail earlier today, and has told Team Frampton that the ball is now in their court.

They would rather fight the fake wba champ instead of the real champ at 122... and then they wanna say that frampton is the best at 122... and that they are gonna prove it IN A COUPLE OF YEARS

Where did you reed that? 3arry McGuig0n's Twitter? The real Barry McGuigan said "Over the next couple years". Important distinction.

          Staggering.

Ahhh I remember the days when Eddie used to call Frampton the best super bantamweight in the world....

Frampton should have ''the lions share'' of the purse. Quigg cant sell tickets by himself, Frampton fills out arenas easily.

Bring him to the Kingspan stadium, take his paperbelt off him, sign it and give it back to him for keeps!
