  • Wladimir Klitschko Vows To Shut Haye's "Dirty Mouth"

After WBO/IBF heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko retained his titles with a stoppage of Ruslan Chagaev in Gelsenkirchen, Germany, he had some hard words for David Haye. The British fighter was scheduled to meet Klitschko before pulling out with a back injury. Wladimir will not forget about Haye and his months of trash talk. He vowed to knock him out in the future. Wladimir will likely make a mandatory defense against undefeated Alexander Povetkin in September. [details]

Pointless now, we dont get to see the fight any time soon, and now the hype about Haye winding him up has subsided, we know haye would get knocked out.

If he wants to shut Haye's mouth he should just dump the IBF belt and try and knock him out in September Povetkin imo would be another easy win for Wlad, now that he has the ring belt he don't need the paper belts. At the moment i think it will probably be Haye vs Vitali.

If/when they fight, Wlad will KO Haye.

Anyone under 7 feet from the Eastern school of boxing is easy prey for Wlad for the simple reason those guys are thought to say at jab distance and at best go for small in and out incursions. Wlad needs someone who will KEEP HIM moving, ALL THE TIME, someone who's not afraid to take his punch or has enough confidence to know he's not gonna get hit.

                September: Wlad vs Povetkin
                December/January: Wlad vs Haye
                May/June: Wlad vs Dmitrenko/Chambers
Fall 2010: Wlad vs Arreola (if still undefeated)

That could be a good scenarion IMO...

I agree. Arreola could even be ready in May/June of next year for the Klits. Right now he needs to fight a few more top 10 guys and no more contenders.
