Looks as if Liverpool are to be bought by the Dubai Sheikh Rasid Al Maktoum!

This guy is worth around 14 Billion (Abramovich has 9 Billion) and is looking to purchase the club for 450 million, 200 million of which is to go on a new 60,000 seater stadium in Stanley Park Liverpool!

The talks are in the final stage with the Sheikhs accountancy agency having left Anfield with the Clubs book today.

The Sheikh has stated he will make considerable funds available to the manager if the sale goes through but will not interfere in the day to day running of the club!

I am on my knees praying for the first time in my life!

I really hope this deal goes through because it is vital we have major investment at our disposal if we want to keep up with the 'creme de la creme' in England and Europe.

I also like the fact that the Sheikh, Rasid Al Maktoum, is not looking at our club as a 'play thing' like Abramovich does with Chelsea. This guy can really take us to the next level in my opinion.

And obviously the stadium should be being planned very soon.

Exciting times.

I just hope the deal doesn't fall through.
