i got some certificates for christmas to get some more ink put on(i'm working on full sleeves)and every place around here is packed with appointments all day long.i guess it was a popular gift.
it sucks cause i was stoked about getting more ink done.i have no patience when it comes to this

I am running into that problem, I only have 4 tats, but they are all pretty big, and i think in my placement of them i wasted space that I could have used for other cool ****. Ahh well, I'll figure it out eventually.

matt, do you know what you are getting or are you gonna scope their stencils out?

lol.. no i never do the stencil ****.. i'll get ideas from the stencils.. but I like to think about my tats for a while, I like individuality and uniqueness. today, i drew out this thing a while ago.. its a skelleton of a pirana with the head intact, sharp teeth, long toungue.. gunna rest on my lower kneck, lay ontop and cover my right shoulder, then wrap and curve around onto the right side of my chest. .. all my **** is in black ink too, no color for me.

i hear you on stencils.i get ideas also but never take directly from a stencil.sounds like a cool piece.i have black and color.depending on what it is, then i will decide how to do it.with black and grey work, you can get more detail

Yea aint that the truth. I try and stick to very black, one tone.. i like 'em simple yet bold.. matter of taste i guess.. but i do have one on my right arm thats different shades of black, like you're sayin cuz it needed to be more detailed.

it is amazing what some can do with grey shades.
i don't know if you have ever heard of him but in san francisco there is a tattooist named ed hardy that charges 600 bucks an hour.his work is some of the most amazing **** i have ever seen.in jersy there is a dude named guy aitchison that is on that level also.
if you live in either one of those areas, i reccomend looking them up.it does not get any better than those 2

hehe.. good choice.. i got a solid black star right ontop of my lower sternum, felt awsome.. its a lil over 3 inches wide, and completely filled in.

i have a tat right on my sternum as well, it's the symbol for lotus. The tattoo artist was telling me oh how it was going to hurt there, when he did it i sat there and didn't even blink. same for theone across my shoulders, i sat there and he hummed it out, he even was asking me if i needed a break, i was like "no, just get it done"

i've got the my left side rib cage and that hurt like ****.the front of my throat was a painful one also but the rest were not bad
