IMO this org deffinatly deserves recognition in the MMA community..IFL is a break out org, it brought something new to the table with success(so far)..
IFL has signed big names other orgs wouldn't/COULDnt sign and has a massive roster featuring 12 teams..Considering it's a new org, it signed a cable deal pretty damn quick bringing a quality show to the table based on nothign more than the raw sport and talent of the individual fighters.. (anybody know how many fighters per team?? is it 6??)
Anyway seeing as how they're based norht america and they have pleny of young talent..
1.IS THE IFL MILKING THE YOUNG UP AND COMMER TALENT POOL?
2.WHAT KIND OF IMPACT WILL IT HAVE ON THE UFC??
i feel yes ifl has a solid business plan and it involves signing fighters at a young age and basing titles and title contention among them.. While at the same time hosting super fights featuring some fo the greatest known veteran fighters ever while having the same fighters as named coaches for the specific individual teams.. IFL has a great concept and they have something the UFC doesn't have.. ORIGINALITY..
PRIDEFC can host fights without the technicality of different weight class' soemthign the UFC cannot do..
IFL- knew they were a new org and realised they had to bring something new to the table or they would end up being another ROTR/cagerage/KOTC so they did what was necessary and brougth in a new concept with a never before seen team concept signing fighters that wouldnt' sign anywhere else.. This should be a sign of somehting big..
with the support of these major superstars ( even though they may be old or inactive for years, these are the guys training the new talent and opening the schools for fighters of all calibre to train at) I htink IFL will stick around for along time, remember these are the fighters that don't care about how much mony they make as much as they care about how much the sport prospers and how it is portrayed..
UFC - brings nothing new to the table, treats fighters like **** as far as win loss ratio is concerned,UFC is restricted by weight class and seems to have super dominating champs compared to the restt of the weight divisions..
UFC does not allow fans to form favoritism for fighters unless their champs due to the fact their canned after a few loss's..
IMO people will not want to fight for UFC in the near future due to job insecurity and IFL will reign supreme..
ONLY benefit UFC has is the ****Etv cable deal.. It's a very popular channel, way more than FSN..
IMO the IFL is the real deal and it's here to stay..
your opinion??
