If I think service is normal I always make it a nice round figure (e.g. $48,30 will be $50) and if I think service is really good I give about 10% (e.g. $48,30 will be $55) but that hardly ever happens! Waiters make $2 an hour so they depend on tips to make good money. You have to really suck to get less than 20 percent from me.
