after both fighters take care of the UF winners is there a chance they will meet? that would be huge....champion vs. champion....maybe they could meet at a catch weight so win or lose they keep the belts but we all get to see who is the best......

UFC doesn't do tha catch weight thing
however they should
**** weight classes, as long as both fighters are within 15lbs of one another who gives a **** what weight it is?? not me./
The Nevada Athletic commision used to have rules against fighters fighting with more then 5-8 lbs difference. That was the reason why the UFC did away with the open weight tournys in the first place, so they could actually get sanctioned by them.
I feel this a very very intersting match up, but I don't really see anybody beating GSP 185 and below (except for Hughes, I know the majority of you think I'm crazy). It would be a good match up, but I'd see GSP winning via 3rd or 4th rd TKO.
I don't see this match happening until at least 3 matches from now, since both of them have to defend against the TUF 4 winners. After that, there is major talk that GSP will fight Hughes in May for a rubber match.

It's much easier to move down in weight than to move up.. Guess i should have told that to all the sensitive lil ****s responding in my stupid fuking redneck thread...
PS it is stupid.. GSP takes one belt, now you guys think he can take another.. If he beats A.Silva, who's next chuck?? come on think a little..
This fighting not figure skating..

GSP has more talent than any of those fighters, anyone who can hand out various types of beatings like he does(destroyed jay hieron with strikes, and completely out wrestled karo paresyian) is obviously something else.Matt hughes beat him by a fluke

Actually matt hughes beat him by armbar.. And it wasnt' fluke because it was a planned maneuver.. I'm not a fan of the hill-billy However i keep my opinions honest..

GSP could take the 185 belt. (period) If you are gonna' argue that, than argue that. It's not far fetched at all. we are talking about anderson silva not tim sylvia and not vanderlai silva or fedor. smartguy.
