One of the owners of the board wins 30 million and decides to put on an MMA show.

The first card in the GloballMMA fighting championships or whatever they would call it.

Would you want:

1. Cage or ring?

2. A weight category tournament or a bunch of single matches?

3. Held where?

4. Big John or Pride refs?


Personally, I would like to see a 8 man heavyweight tourney, in a cage, held in either Vegas (cause I have never been and the lights look purty!) or in Australia somewhere...with Pride refs.

i wouldnt want to restrict it to 1 weight class. Just do it up old school ufc weight class's, lightweight-middleweight-heavyweight. Ill go for lightweight champ since i dont see much opposition here (you guys are all middle n above pretty much)

The conteders would be basically everyone from the media top ten with Sapp in and Yvel in the Heavyweight to make it more exciting, at LHW i would have Randleman in it, at LW i would have genki in it

A mixed of PRIDE and UFC refs

and UFC rules minus the kicking and kneeing to the head rule. Also, point of elbow attacks are legal.

If I were to chose rules it would be anything goes(minus groin shots) and unlimited 5 minute rounds. No decisions, cut stoppages, ref stepping in, you either tap out, or get knocked out.
