Sane Man 11-30-2006, 11:40 AM a good place to start would be Marvin Hagler and Joe Calzaghe Watch Hagler's fight against Thomas Hearns and Calzaghe's against Jeff Lacy eazy_mas 11-30-2006, 01:39 PM if you want to learn try to watch Hagler, Quintene, Penoslosa and Casamayor. they are text book southpaw and dont forget Callazo The Raging Bull 11-30-2006, 01:54 PM The best modern day southpaws to learn off will be Collazo, Calzaghe and Winky Wright. kryo 11-30-2006, 01:59 PM Winky Wright is not someone to watch considering he uses a very very tight guard which he makes effective because his forearms are 6 feet long. If normal people mimic his defense there body will be torn up after round 2. hemichromis 11-30-2006, 02:29 PM micheal moorer was usually very good he beat holyfield and he was beating foreman impressivly till he felt foremans iron fist he was a right handed southpaw though Sweat 11-30-2006, 02:50 PM A good southpaw fighter??? MANNY PACQUIAO. realheavyhands 11-30-2006, 02:54 PM Winky Wright is not someone to watch considering he uses a very very tight guard which he makes effective because his forearms are 6 feet long. He could have reinged for years IMO, but sought his fortune at heavy weight. He was a violent force at LH and was a converted orthodox fighter for some reason. His jab and hook were devastating.
