I heard that it's not.. It's not even Victorious Boxers 2.. It's Victorious Boxers All stars... I got both but they in Japanese.. Sucks that the English one doesn't have Boxers Road.. That **** makes the game even better..

There's a difference in the Japanese version of Hajime no Ippo 2, and the UK/US version of Hajime no Ippo 2. Hajime no Ippo 2 the Japanese version is the one that contains the "boxers" road mode, but the engine is similar to Hajime no Ippo 1. Hajime no Ippo 2 UK/US which is also known as Victorious Boxers 2: All-Stars has the better engine, but no Boxer's Road mode. It also goes deeper into the manga[which can be found at www.dynamiteglove.com] that Hajime no Ippo 2 Jap.

I hated that game. Id heard that it was so good, but apart from the obviously **** graphics and storyline bollocks, the actual fighting was a let down.

YO I FEEL YOU ON THAT SON! This game got me so mad.. Them mother****ers throw like a 45 punch combination that doesn't stop. You just stand there and they still throwing.. They don't get tired, and when i do knock them out... I go to throw a body shot and BOOM he lands a baby jab and i fly away hitting the canvas.. Stupid ****.. Boxers Road is hard tho.. Im 29-1with 29 Kos.. I lost yo.. I just said **** it.. I ain't reseting this time lol

the fight is better when you use the slow mo move especially with the feather indian guy.

Boxers road is a deep career mode.. You could customize your fighter.. You can watch what you eat.. Spar when ever you want.. You have a calendar and all.. You got dates for fights...It's really good. Aside the wack fighting system they used.. It's unrealistic and very hard. I still haven't beated the game.

I was playing Victorious Boxers All Stars A.K.A Victorious Boxers 2 Fighting spirit.. The fighting system is more accurate and toned down. You can accually think of what punch you wanna throw.. Also the jab works way better than in VB2 in Jap.
