Lennox Lewis could figure that out, why not Calvin Brock?

bull****, vitalis face was falling off and he was starting to drag. The last round before it was stopped all he did was hold. He would have gotten KOed late by an out of shape Lewis that was traing for a shorter less skilled fighter Kirk Johnson. It was basically supposed to be an easy win over another canadian, instead he got Vitali who says he trained EVERY fight like he was fighting Lewis and his face still got ripped off.

Lewis was a top tier HW...Calvin Brock showed he wasn't in the same class as Wlad.

He didn't need to be in the same class as Klitschko. All Brock needed to do was throw the right hand over the top.

Not everybody could use the same aproach, What would a Tyson, Tua or even myself have to do being under the 6 foot mark? I wonder about you sometimes Potatoes. Not so clear of thought when you post these things. It's not black and white there is a grey area.

I have faught a man of Vitali's stature "not skill" but had a pawing jab. I was effective weaving and slipping using hook counters to the body and open with uppercuts when I got inside.

Few want to counter the lazy jab with a right hand because if it misses with it (and let's face it Brock's right hand isn't as quick or as accurate as Lewis's) it leaves them open to his left hook, one of the fastest punches in Wlad's arsenal. Brock was afraid of Wlad's power and that's obvious from watching video of the fight. Can't really say I blame him.

Basically very few guys in the division have much for balls these days. Toney is about it, and when he counters he barely does any damage. Maybe Ibragimov or Peter in the early rounds when they're feeling confident. No one will take a chance like a Marciano, Dempsey, or Frazier would.

OK first off, and I can't believe nobody else has mentioned this yet, Lewis and Brock fought different Klitschkos. Wladimir and Vitali throw their jabs differently. Wladimir's jab is a lot better, more powerful and snappy. Vitali might be the better fighter overall, but Wlad has the better jab, and he doesn't really paw with it all that much. He has a stance where his jab hand is often far out in front of him, but it is still up high and his shoulder is protecting his chin so it is difficult to fire a right over it. Then there is also the things such as Brock not having as good timing, speed, height, or experience as Lewis.

Anything in boxing sounds easy if you just say it. When you have this big strong 6'6" guy ramming a fast jab into your face continually swelling your face up, it isn't quite so easy to do.

your full of yourself, how dare you even mention your name along side Tyson and Tua. I notice in all your posts you act like you know aeverything and act like somekinda expert, you aint **** man wake the **** up. Im sure Jim Lampely is going to comment that "Tua is a short stocky power puncher, much along the lines of Tyson and Kingdosia from boxingscene." you delusional melon head mother****er.

and what the thread started is saying is why didnt Brock do it, he didnt say Tua or Tyson could do it dumbass. he asked why Brock, who is taller than Tyson and Tua by the way, didnt do it.

Did he ever say he was comparing his ability to them...? He was talking about their height. And how maybe his style is like theirs, which is no suprise, because of the similar body dimensions...(height)

Next time you decide to punk someone, don't punk yourself

wrong klitschko
like he said
they both throw different jabs

wlad has a quick right which he can follow with after he jabs

Calvin Brock may not be the greatest boxer in the world, but he is good enough to throw a rightcross. Watch the video, in the first 4 rounds you will see him slip the jab and push a reaching left at Klitschko. It's stupid but that is what he was doing. In the fifth round Klitschko started doing his job and Brock had no answer. From there it was just a question of time before Klitschko finished the job. However, Brock had his chance and he blew it.

He was only comparing his height and fighting style, not his ability, to Tua and Tyson. There was no reason for you to go off on him like that.

HA HA he only compared his height with them, and the fact that he is a boxer!
