nog would be the fighter of the year for sure.i would say yoshida would be a good choice for that but we all know the controversy surrounding him.people either love him or hat him

Both of those guys are better ROY's than Lawler.

Rookie of the year: I would put Sapp above Yoshida just because he was owning in MMA, K1, and pro wrestling.

Big-g knows his stuff! I agree Sapp is ROY, he is a monster in fighting. To fight someone of excellant calibur & win, makes an exciting fight!

2003 fighter of the year: Chuck Liddell - after first defeating Tito Ortiz then going to Pride and defeating Silva(or Randleman? or Arona?) for the PFC MW title (at least in my dreams :) )

and for this year i agree completly with Big-G
