Floyds defense and bicycle technique shows that this isn't a joke.. I'd pick Robinson by UD in a 12 round fight, if there was more rounds involved I'd pick Robinson by a possible KO, it wouldn't be a blow out though, lesser opponents went the distance with SRR.

True. But PBF hasnt been tested by somone half as good as Robisnson. Robinson was KOing middleweights with one punch well after his prime. I think he would hurt PBF, outwork him, and out fight him.

Sugar ray, the real sugar, was a devastating puncher at welterweight. i've seen films of him ****ing guys up with one punch. as good as pbf is, he's no match for the real sugar. robinson would **** him up in the later rounds. jl castillo, a great fighter was able to frustrate pbf, SRR was a lot better than castillo. robinson would be a nightmare for pbf

There really would be no contest. Floyd Mayweathers skill and speed would be both matched and over-shadowed by Sugar Ray Robinson. The greatest fighter of all time takes Mayweather to school, gives him a terrible beating and puts him on the canvas for keeps inside of ten rounds.

Sugar Ray Robinson by ko.

There is nothing Mayweather has now that Sugar Ray Robinson didn't have back when he fought. Real tough night for Floyd and he'll be KO'd within 8 rounds.

I totally agree with M26 . Floyd will wake up in the hospital the next day and say , "What happened?"
The Doctor replys, ".....You have diabetes , Floyd....diabetes"

As M26 said Sugar in 10 rounds by a massive combo Knockout!

Every morning when Floyd wake up, the first thing he better do is Thank God that Sugar Ray Robinson isn't fighting now.

Who would win and how? Well, let me put it this way, this fight couldn't be held in any state where the death penalty has been outlawed.

Robinson by brutal ko in five rounds or less.

the only thing pbf has over robinson is defense.

robinson has a relevant advantage in size, and a HUGE one in power

speed and skills are on par

i want to be generous to pbf's chin and leave this as a question mark (rating robinson above would only be based on lack of evidence on pbf's chin).

anyway mayweather power is surely not enough to trouble robinson.

in a nutshell... it would be cute and interesting to see floyd make robinson miss a few times in unseen ways... for a VERY short while. until the strain of dealing with a bigger opponents who lands bombs at every punch. would get to pbf who would start tasting the canvas until unable to get up.

(or the haters would say he'd quit before that, again based on lack of evidence in favor of his heart, rather than the existence of any evidence against)

SRR wins hands down, by decision or by KO, Quite capable of outboxing or out blasting Floyd!

Lol poor pretty boy....no one thinks he could win, but then again everyone thinking/knowing you would lose to Ray Robinson isn't a insult at all! I'm really looking forward to his Oscar fight!
