DLH in his prime. Jones has problems with hard punchers that put good combos together. Which is what DLH does best. DLH 12 UD

I cant see it. What hard punchers did Jones have trouble with at his best?

Jones at his best would cover up against his opponents flurries, and pick them off with counters. He would be too fast for DLH.
I doubt DLH would be that aggresive against Jones.
Look at how he was with Trinidad.

DLH wouldnt have a height or reach advantage. Jones is faster, and i believe punches harder.
He would out box DLH in the center of the ring, counter him, hurt him.

Yeah this was for if "they were the same weight". Your right a welter/super welterweight wouldnt be anybigger than a light/heavyweight. But lets be honest JONES would duck and dodge a DLH. Just like he did every good fighter in his prime.

Jones may not have fought some fighters, but he moved up to fight the best super middle around, Toney. And totally dominated him. He also moved up to light heavy and heavyweight to fight bigger stronger opponents.

The whole ****in point of this thread is a fantasy fight. If they fought, Jones would beat him for the reasons ive stated earlier.

prime jones would give dlh the beating of his life, it would be a lot uglier than what hopkins did to him. jones is much faster and a more powerful puncher than hops. dlh would sometimes coast in the last few rounds of fights he thought he was winning, if he did this with RJJ, he gets knocked out art serwano style

I think the only way to compare two fighter that are not close in weight is to look at their competition.
In 10 years the only name u could spit out was Toney.lol. Jones lived off that one win(he also milked an unready B-hop win). Toney had to lose 45 pounds to make weight and Jones couldnt even end it early.

OscarDLH's competition is unreal. Just so Many top P4P fighters. Say what u want about jones and his quick skilss that only got him so far. Oscar would cut thur Jones Flash pot shots and put him in a coner and pound him out. (just like he did vargas, Ike Quartey, Mayorga)

But we all know its would have took a court order to get Jones in the Ring with another top P4P fighter.

is this a ****in joke!!!????

jones would rip oscars head off
1st of all i dont see oscar surviving super middleweight to fight lightheavy
he couldnt even survive middle!
he's a jr.middleweight!

IF! they were in same divisions(enormous if).....which they never will be......roy would still beat his ass
much bigger,more reach,more skill,more power=win,win,win by ko,ko,ko

but if jones was still a middleweight wen oscar fought hopkins
he'd still beat his ass
