Serious look at GSP and the young superstars future.

Since his first bout in the octagon at UFC46(vs kary parisyan) georges st..pierre has pretty much beat pretty much the who's who of the UFC WW division while beating most with what appeared to be ease..

Holding a record of 13-1 and having wins on most fighters that pose any threat to his belt what is left for this young superstar in the UFC???

IMO he has the skilll to be a great fighter but does he have the drive?? what would it take for him to become that great fighter everybody wants??

1.stick in the UFC for a few title defences against hughes, penn and maybe winner of riggs/sanchez if it's a must..

2.leave UFC and go where you think the best challenge would be(for the same money of course.) whether it be pride, k1 or IFL go where the competition is stiff fight top 5 fighters with a title shot after 3 fights and 3 wins of course.

3.After winning the belt in taht particular org, defend a few times until your confident you've beaten the majority of hte top fighters in that WW division..

4.After proving to be an elite fighter, consider moving up in weight or stick with that belt if it makes you happy..

I really dont' feel a fighter should move up in weight just because a dominated a divisin of 1 organisation.. Thers alot of great fighters out there that could offer a great fight that aren't in the UFc.

You guys are retarded.. GSP went into the hughes fight training months specifically for hughes.. GSP made hughes weakness' his strength and made it pretty much impossible for hughes to mount any offence..

IMO gsp/tanner would be a good fight but not silva.. You guys are fuking dilusional.. Its hard enough to fight in a heavier division why the **** would he take on the best in that divisino does not make sense..
I;m not taking anything away from gsp he is good.. You guys are just giving him way too much..

Kinda like saying wandy/fedor would be a good fight.. imo it would be a quick fight. wandy by a fedorism.

I thought all fighters train for their opponents weaknesses. How much would it take out of a man to gain 15 pounds? Who has dominated more high calibur opponents of varying abilities? GSP! I don't know how tall anderson is but I think height should not pose a problem, it can't be too drastic a difference.

anderson silva would pick gsp apart standing up, work the muaythai clinch and if it did go to the ground he has the spider gaurd(body triangle) that you can't escape unless he lets you out.. dont think gsp has been kicked by anybody that kicks like A.silva... GSP would feeel the pain..

I know this would be tha best fight to watch, and LHWchamp5 i think u are giving way too much to anderson silva. Lotta people thought matt hughes would beat georges jus cause he is stronger. Werent u one of the guys that said matt hughes would win that last fight? I highly doubt this fight will ever happen anyways, jus a dream matchup. GSP would have a good chance and possibly win against anderson silva, he proved ya'll wrong when he beat that farm boy hughes. GSP is capable of alot of things, he took the royce gracie advice by beating hughes with technique, study his opponent and go on from there and he kicked ass. If Royce gracie had muscle definition like gsp he would beat hughes too, but hughes was too strong. GSP was younger strong and knew alot more. Matt hughes u suck man, RETIRE.

GSP had so many advantages over hughes it wasn't funny however confidence was the main one..... I still can't believe how confident he came out, hughes looked like a lil school boy that wasn't sure if he just walked into the girls bathroom or not..He looked like he didnt belong.

1.gsp had reach advantage.
2.gsp was taller/heavier.
3.GSP trained specifically for a ONE dimensional hughes..
4.GSP never over committed and was never in any trouble throughout that entire fight..
5.GSP was 10x the striker hughes was, if not more..

If gsp fights a.silva, those advantages will turn in the favor of silva..
anderon silva has fought in the hardest leagues all over the globe with dominant wins over big named fighters...
Anderson silva has a list of accomplishments GSP is still building that list..

Either way i want to clarify that it will not be an easy fight for either fighter, however i can see silva finishing this fight..

gsp's record is like what..14-1 ??that is a pretty good acomplishment to be champ that early and at his young age.

i hope he beats all the quality opposition at 170 before moving up to 185. i just want GSP to have more defenses and be champ longer than hughes was. i hate matt hughes

hughes is not one dimensional, silva ain't that good on the ground, gsp is a big/young guy at 170 he could put on 15 lbs easilly and probably all muscle, and i'm sure he will eventually, the question is should he do it sooner than later? I think yes he is at his prime now, why not make a dent. gsp is quick and also has a hell of a shoot, don't see why he can't stand up with or take down silva. as for the 170 division why stay? does he have any unfinnished bussiness?? no, he could always drop back down after taking the belt. why tanner? I always want to see him fight but why with gsp? he's a game guy but he has been beatings away from any title contention for a while now.
