Emanilenko Fedor vs Mark Hunt for the PRIDE Heavyweight title. Discuss

They say you fight styles, not fighters; well in that case Fedor wins in under 2 minutes. But that’s just a little too ignorant a view for me. I do fully expect Fedor to win but I doubt it’ll be as easy as most predict. Hunt hits hard and can take one hell of a pounding (Cro Crops kicks to the skull).

Problem is, Hunt has limited knowledge on the ground and weak takedown defence, if he were to work on that, a fight against Fedor wouldn’t have predictions of being one sided.

I think Mark Hunt has a good chance at winning and even knocking out Fedor.

Fedor has never fought anyone with punching power of Mark Hunt.

Fedor is gonna make it look easier than his fight against Cro cop. Fujita ****ing stood with Hunt.

I was really, really hoping we would see this fight soon, now it's here :D IMO hunt has the best chance to put up the best fight against fedor.. In everyone of fedors' fights (excluding zulu) he's been the heaviest and strongest fighter when it comes to top competition.. cro-cop was too small and got man handled(almost thrown out of the ring) and nog well his style is a poor match-up for someone like fedor..

I think hunt has the size, strength, the go and the chin to put up a good fight against fedor, unfortunatly a question mark follows his cardio...
Don't get me wrong fedor WILL beat hunt, may even be the first guy to KO him.. however Hunt will give us a good show.. unless fedor takes it to the ground quick and finishs with a sub(thats alwasy possible)... but man that would suck, i really wanna see the guys fight atleast the first round and sub in the second thats fine.. lol.

I dont' know about that.. Its' kkinda like if fighter A beat fighter B and fighter C beat fighter A than fighter C could predictably beat fighter B?? I dont' think so...

Fedor packs alot of power if catches hunt flush hunt will go down.. If he gets up again, well thats a different story..

I only see fedor going for a submission if it's given to him, if hunt makes a mistake and fedor exploits it.. He did alot of GnP against cro-cop with not too many sub attempts.. I think he was trying to send a message in that fight.

I'll tell you right now, if fedor thumps hunt for 3 rounds it's gonna cause damage and it's gonna send a strong message to alot of hungry fighters..

i can't wait. i'm not buying ufc 66...looks like another chuck liddell snoozer.
