View Full Version : What was your first job?

I worked a grocery store for a year and a half. I started working my senior year of high school so I could go on co-op and leave school a few hours early, and go to work. It was great because I didn't have to go to work everyday, although I had permission to leave school early regardless.
That was my first and only job. I'm just concentrating on school right now, however, I'm hoping to maybe get a job at Barnes & Noble when it opens here.

Vulgar, I did telemarket too. Its ****ty work. I'd rather work in fast food, which is what I do now, than telemarketing.

When I was 14, I started working Saturdays for my grandma who owns an eclectic store featuring herbs/incense/candles/vitamins, a store that attracts all kinds of hippies and other interesting people.

First job where I actually filed taxes was washing dishes at the Holiday Inn for $4.45 an hour...
