These Pitfights between animals raised in captivity dont mean much, but cruelty to these beautifull creatures. they should never be put together cause its not natural.
Anyway, i love these animal threads aswell, and i still think a Fullgrown Male Barbary lion would kill a Tiger. I think they would be long fights with one killing the other most of the time. Its all in the Mane.

I should be considered an expert on these animal matchups guys.

Regarding the Lion vs TIger, it generallly comes down to the way the cats have evolved. The lion has evolved for the sole purpose of fighting. The liuon has grown a mane to protect its neck, it has a stockier upperbody, and it doesnt hunt based on the fact that its only duty is to fight off other lions in defense of its pride. While the tiger has devoloped as a hunter, it is a solitary animal and has to hunt for itself, it has devoped a streamlined body with great speed and jumping ability to aid in hunting, however solitary hunters avoid fights becuase if they get injured from a fight they can no longer hunt and will starve.

SO based on that it is generally accepted that the Lion is the better fighter (I also post on a forum devoted to animal fights). However on ost of the videos of Lion vs Tiger fights it is a smaller bengal tiger vs a ale lion and on most of them the tiger seems to come out the winner.

Both animals primary way of killing is the throat bite, The main train of thought though is that the Lion shold win 6-7/10 because its neck is protected while the tigers is not. But like I said the tiger seems to win to me.

I think that the stupid internet kids got too excited about the 8 second clips of Tigers slapping Lions, but didnt realise that it doesnt mean crap in a fight with wild animals
