i was at work today and a guy with a team punishment jacket came in. i said "nice jacket, do you know the guys from team punishment?" he said yeah he hangs out with tito and tito used his house in Big Bear to train for the shamrock. i think his name was sparky cuzz that's the name on the jacket. but to cut to the story i asked why tito disbanded team punishment, he told me that it was just time for all the guys to move on and create an identity for themselves and there was not bad feeling amoung any of them. he said they all still train together and all are still good friends. so to all that believe that zuffa owned part the name is totally false. tito is sole ower of the name. he also said that ricco is the man right now and champion and doesn't need TP to help his image and so forth with rampage. thats was cool i ran into him and he was also dean lister's manager. he also said look out for dean lister when he comes to the UFC.

I don't like the idea of being in a team.

Like, how long ago would we have seen Chuck vs Tito if they weren't in a team...right?

I like the team idea...I think it is good for young fighters coming through tobe surrounded by senior guys who know the game and how it is played, not only in the ring, but behind the scenes also...it can only be good for the sport and the fighters if they are all educated in those things

For god sakes people never seem to know that they are NOT on the same team and never were, Chuck is on the SLO team.

I was under the impression that Team Punishment is going to only be the top level fighters. The only thing changing is the guys that are just up and coming that train with them can not call themselves part of team punishment.

You mean Mike Dixon isn't part of Team Punishment anymore? He's a nice guy and a good fighter.
