Picked this gem up today.....damn it's a hot album, almost as good as The Documentary (take out Lookin At You and put in another hot song and it's just as good). What did you guys think?

It is better than The Documentary in my opinion.

After a couple of listens I got tired of The Documentary. I've been jammin Doctor's Advocate for almost a week now. I got to go pick this one up because it deserves my money.

California Vacation is my favorite track on the album.

Yeah he name drops on this album (but only the words 'Dre' and '6 4 Impala') but it's still an incredibly hot album. This Dre thing must of shook him up pretty bad...he even sounds eerily similar to D R E now..

My favorite track is probably Why You Hate The Game or Da ****.

damn Doctor's Advocate is hotter then Start From Scratch was....you can really feel the pain. And Ol' English sounds like a Detox beat. This **** is hot no doubt.

Enjoyed it, The Blue Carpet Treatment also had some hot songs on it to, neither stack up to Kingdom Come though easily 8.5/10 maybe higher.

Anyone who said Game is done after this album looks to be wrong. Hes established at this point. This album is going to sell well and his next likely will too. Established rappers don't usually fall off sales wise, their fans will alway buy their albums.

I think alot of his sales came from being with G-Unit at the time. He may put up some good numbers but I don't think he will see 5 million.

I'll admit though I didn't expect much from this album but he surprised the hell out of me. It's a nice album and Dre didn't produce a single track.

Alot of people were saying Game will be done as a rapper after this album. All I'm saying is that doesn't look like its going to happen. Maybe he won't sell as much, but hes not going anywhere. You know?

Why You Hate the Game is a ****in classic. I listen to that 3 times a day.

Its a good album overall. I agree with you guys on California Vacation. I was excited to hear X on the track. Hes underrated as an MC. The song produced by Kanye is hot. The one where he talks about Vida Guerra. I give Game props, he stepped it up this album.

Game got better lyrically, and he's only going to get better. He's only been rapping since 2002 (never rapped before that), plus he's only 27 turning 28 Nov. 27th. I can just imagine his next album...

I hate to admit it but I like it too........It is pretty good overall.I for one have always appreciated Games skill when he was'nt talking too much rubbish. He has some good mixtapes and follows up with good flow on his CDs.I give it a 7 out of 10....I liked the Documentry better for now that could change with a few more listens.

The Documentary def. had better production in my opinion. That album has some of the best production Ive ever heard on an album period though, so its hard to top that.

I'd rank Kingdom Come a 6.5 or so out of 10; I was very, very disappointed with Blue Carpet Treatment.

I was really surprised by this album and I agree that it's better than The Documentary. It jus sounds better every time I give it a listen.

My favourite track on it is hands down Doctors Advocate. You can really feel The Game's pain and emotions in it.

It's called 'biting'

I'm on the song 'Da ****' right now and that was my thought...

I'll let you know what I think after I hear the whole disc

nah - he still name drops a lot.

Didn't you also catch him ripping off...errr...I mean 'referencing' Snoop's bit on Pac's All Bout U at the end of "Wouldn't Get Far?"

Okay, I'm through the disc. I need to be the dissenting opinion here. It's a 2 1/2 mic album - 4.5 or 5/10. It's a well produced album. It's a shame these tracks were wasted on this limited rapper who seems to be beyond content with just "being one of the boys", shouting out to whoever he's rubbing shoulders with now. We understand you got a record deal, Game. Now a rap about something, ANYTHING. Other than the ghetto cliches he grew up listening to, there's not much else offered. There's a recent trend where hip-hop has become personal and the artists' personal lives and accomplishments become part of the art; thing is, you have to establish yourself first. And one national disc doesn't cut it, especially when you started doing it on that disc too.

It's hard for me to pick a favorite track - maybe the Kanye song, or "Why You Hate the Game" for the first few minutes when Nas is rapping...

Is it lyrically great? No. Is its a hot album? Yes. Why? Nice beats, bascially a cd to play when you don't care what the lyrics are, it just sounds good. Game is not Nas or Biggie lyrically and I think most people don't go to him for lyrics. They go to him because he makes hot songs. For example One Blood is a hot song, not that great lyrically, but it sounds good. Thats why Game is popular.

Neils I do agree with you about Game needing to improve his subject matter though, he can say alot more than hes saying. I think this was just meant to be a west coast party album though.

Im suprised you didnt like Kingdom Come much Neils, I thought it was awsome and cant wait to buy it on disc. I was pleased, the intro is the hottest track Ive heard in a while, overall I thought the album had tight production and was a nice change of pace from his other stuff.

I was dissapointed in Kingdom Come as well. Jay has some high standards though, so its a good album, just not one of his better albums. I can think of atleast 4 that are better.

As far as Games lyrics, I find him just as repetitive as most do, but I still think hes still improving. It also doesnt hurt that on 4 of his best songs he shares the mic with Kanye, Snoop, Xzibit, Busta, and Nas.

I liked it, just not on the level I would have thought I would a "comeback" album. I'd give it a 6.5/10 which is better than The Game's disc that I would give a 4.5/10 to. Maybe I'm just in a mood the last few days.

I know I'd much rather listen to Game Theory or Black Magic straight through again than start searching through The Game's CD for singles I thought were ok...

Album is great, and my favorite of the 3 big November releases.

And it just sold 360,000 in its first week !
