Anyone else in here feel that life would be empty without MMA? Since I began watching MMA I have been training and have passion for life that I never had before. It is a sport that is unmatched and you have to be a mentally and physically developed person. Utilizing the many styles of MMA makes use of the minds potential and the bodys' capacity to develop to that extent. I have never felt better in my life. I feel sorry for all the suckers who haven't harnessed their potential as I have. Thank you MMA.:headbang:

I feel tha same way about mma, I watched a bit when royce gracie beat up these bigger guys but i was young and wasnt into it as much as i am now. I work on cardio, hardcore weight lifting and striking and thats not nearly enough for mma. Took wrestling in high school, but ufc have made me gun for something in life, that shitty thing is that im 23 and need more help with training. Might be impossible for me to fight anywhere but hopefully one day something might happen. Can u imagine being on the TUF series:o that would be the best.

Dude I am 22 years old and the only experience I have ever had is self taught boxing, and my brother showing me some cool stuff he learned from a bunch of special forces guys while he was in the military, but other than that, I have had no training what so ever. I usually let that get me down and thought I would never have a chance to go up against someone who has had years of training, and I usually quit, restarted, quit again and so on. Now I have been at it for a while, still teaching myself a lot of stuff using books and some videos, but I feel it is a great starting point to learn the basics.

I wish my brother could still show me some military stuff, but he doesnt really like people wrestling heavy with him, thanks to his tour in Iraq and getting injured and seeing his best buds shot to hell right beside him. But I have already met a bad ass guy who is an amateur fighter in mma and he has given me some good advice and I am following it, and once I get into a lot better shape, and I feel I have learned everything I can teach myself, I will start training with him and the place he trains out of.

Put it this way, this guy is like 28 years old and has only been doing fighting of any kind for a couple of years. Before he started traing BJJ, he had no training experience at all. And this guy is damn good because he has the heart and the will to do it. Which from what you said, you definatly have yourself, a guy who kind of questions if he will ever fight, still trains hardcore and conditions himself to be a fighter. That is heart right there. It took me a long time just to get to that point.

As a matter of fact i''ve had an urge to start training again since school finished, however i may be going to australia to live for a bit so i really cant start training... anyboyd know if australia has any schools??

boxing fan your right, the MMA community would be better off without dana white and joe rogan, however there could also be worst.. Imagine having to listen to someone like eddie bravo or mark laimon all fight every fight.. Man ufc would go broke.

Dana White, isnt he the guy who made what ufc what it is today. Ya know getting it on ****e tv, making the TUF series happen, making the fighters more known in the world. Dana White is like another Vince Mcmahon, and hes dont great for ufc.

I was considering MMA as a discipline. I don't care if you like boxing better or if Dana White and Joe Rogan make you weak in the knees. Boxing limits your potential, but is a part of MMA. MMA as a whole, which is all martial arts, develops the mind and the body.

MMA develops the mind and the body? Maybe, but other sports don't?

As a whole plus it is a combat sport.
